· Western style back saw
· 1/10", 1/8" or 3/16" chisel
· 3/8" and 3/4 or 1" bevel edged chisels
· Brace
· Metal scribe or awl
· 6" or 12" adjustable square
· Smooth plane
· 6" half round file
· 8" or 10" mill bastard file
· Pencils and note book/paper
· Rule
· Bevel square
· Mallet
· Digital camera for photos
· Safety equipment – hearing protection, dust mask, safety glasses

Optional tools (Bring them if you have them. Please don't purchase these for this workshop; we'll have extra tools available.)

· Lie-Nielsen plane makers' floats:
· 1/8" and 3/16" edge floats
· Side float
· Gouges 1/4" #8 and 1/2" #5 or #6
· Shoulder plane
· Fillister or rabbet plane
